Arrival Drinks - Suggestion 1
A small jazz trio (piano, electric jazz guitar and
saxophone works really well) to play gentle easy listening background jazz for
your guests during arrival drinks and whilst you have your photographs taken.
Arrival Drinks - Suggestion 2
If there is a piano available at the venue, our pianist could
play classical piano for your guests during arrival drinks and whilst you have
your photographs taken. Followed by the full band playing a special song for your entrance (examples of suitable entrance songs might
include “Congratulations”, “We Are Family” or Eva Cassidy’s version of
“Wonderful World”).

Suitable background CDs could then be left playing for the
duration of your meal, if desired.
Main Evening Celebration
After your meal and speeches, the band will be waiting to begin
with your first dance whenever you are ready. Usually the band plays for a
couple of hours, split into two or three sets, working around your evening
buffet (if applicable).
Scottish themed celebrations can include ceilidh dances with
calling and Jewish celebrations can include the National Anthems and our medley
of traditional Jewish songs.
Debbie can also provide a full complimentary DJ service during
band breaks, with a massive back catalogue of music, including a great selection
of current chart hits. This also means she will be in the room with you and your
guests, managing the evening’s entertainment from start to finish. She carefully
selects songs to complement the band’s sets, actively seeking requests from the
dancefloor and working to keep all your guests happy, whatever their musical
tastes! Alternatively, if you would prefer a separate DJ, the band are
happy to organise this for you or work with a DJ you have selected.
