| How far will the
band travel?
The Debbie Boyd Band are based in SE England but will travel all over the UK
and worldwide.
How long do you play for?
The Debbie Boyd Band’s standard set times are
usually 2 x 60 mins
or 3 x 40 mins. Extra playing time (eg. dinner jazz sets, Jewish
medley or extra
party and/or Scottish Ceilidh dancing sets) can easily be accommodated upon request.
Will I need to book a disco as
well as the band?
The choice is yours! The Debbie Boyd Band can be booked
without a disco as the band will happily leave a background CD of
suitable music playing during their breaks. Alternatively, Debbie can provide
her DJ service during breaks.
Do you have insurance against
accidents and damage at venues?
The Debbie Boyd Band has public liability
insurance of up to £10M and all electrical equipment is fully PAT
tested.
How do you dress?
The band’s usual style of dress is glamorous
evening dress for the women and smart black for the men. With
advance notification, alternative outfits including formal black tie
or 70s party gear can be worn.
What are the different line-ups
for the band?
The Debbie Boyd Band is a 7 piece band which
includes drums, keyboards, bass guitar, lead guitar, sax, trumpet,
female lead vocalist and 4 male backing vocalists. Optional
additional 2 female backing vocalists can also be included in the
line-up.

How loud do you
play?
The band can play as loudly or quietly as you
like. The Debbie Boyd Band have played at many functions of differing size, and
can tailor the volume to the size of the room and number of people.
How much do you charge?
Pricing varies according to the size of line-up you
prefer, distance of travel, set-up and finish times and the length
of time you wish the band to play. The band also provides two
discounted party
packages (corporate and
wedding). Please contact the entertainment
booking agency who recommended The Debbie Boyd Band to you for further details and
a personal quote. The Debbie Boyd Band are committed to providing the very best in

Do you supply all your own
equipment?
Yes, the band has a top quality 3.6kw PA and
stage lighting system designed for audiences of up to 400 people.
Additional dancefloor lighting is provided when the band's DJ option
is selected and for larger events or themed evenings, the band can
arrange additional and/or specialist sound/lighting equipment,
including backdrops or starcloths.
Do you have any specific
requirements?
The band request a changing room suitable for the
number of people in the line-up you have chosen and a stage/setting
up area of 20 x 10 feet (6m x 3m), although smaller stage sizes may
be accommodated by setting up some equipment off either side of the
stage. Adequate power supplies are also needed; either a minimum of
3 x 13amp mains sockets for indoor events or a generator capable of
supplying 32 amps single phase at 240V for outdoor events, (further
details available on request). The Debbie Boyd Band also ask that
hot meals (including one vegetarian) be provided for the band
members along with light refreshments and soft drinks for the whole
time we are on site, in order for the band to perform at their best!
