Debbie Boyd Band are specialists at providing
live

batmitzvahs,
Jewish weddings
and anniversaries.
From discreet background
smooth jazz during arrival drinks
to their rip-roaring
simchah medley of
klezmer favourites (sung in
Hebrew,
of course!) including:
Od Yishama,
Ose Shalom,
Am Yisrael Chai,
Siman Tov,
Mazel Tov and many, many more. You can be sure the
Debbie Boyd Band
will be able to satisfy all your guests, whatever their age, background or
musical preferences.
The band are also able to play the

Formats
Fantastic and highly versatile 5 to 10 piece
live band with optional in-house manned
interactive DJ service during breaks. The band's minimum 5 piece
line-up includes:
 | Lead female
singer Debbie Boyd |
 | Drummer / male backing vocalist Martin Brown |
 | Bass Guitarist / male backing vocalist Nigel Hallsworth |
 | Lead Guitarist / male backing vocalist Neil Baker |
 | Keyboards & piano player / male backing vocalist Andrew
Lowe |
Additional players can be added including sax, trumpet,
trombone and/or additional lead vocalists and percussionist. The band are very
flexible and, if required, can make suggestions to suit your requirements, budget and
venue.
If you're considering booking some sort of
live music for your guests for during the early part of your evening, please
do ask us about our options. It's very likely we might be able to provide
this service for you at a fraction of the cost of hiring a separate band and you
can rest easier knowing everything will run smoothly on the day with one point
of contact taking care of all your musical needs.
During Your Meal
Why not consider hiring the band to play some
live music during dinner, or in between
courses? Some general
easy listening is often a hit, as is a
soul set. Alternatively, perhaps you might like our pianist to play
some solo piano during your meal? Perhaps your guests might even
enjoy some traditional
klezmer songs in between courses?

Main Evening Celebration
After your meal, the band will be waiting to begin whenever
you are ready. Usually the band plays for a couple of hours, split into
two or three sets, working around your evening buffet (if applicable).
Additional sets of
party music, or themed sets, are also available. Please
do ask.
DJ
The band can also provide their in-house DJ service during
band breaks, with a massive back catalogue of music, including a great selection
of current chart hits. Or alternatively, if you would prefer a separate DJ, the band are
happy to organise this for you or work with a DJ you have selected.
PA and Lighting
The band travels with a 3.6kw PA suitable for most audiences of up to 350 people. Extensions to the PA
(for example, satellite speakers to spread sound round a large, or awkwardly
shaped venue) can easily be arranged with advance notice (please note, there
will be an extra charge for this). The band provides all its own stage
lighting and can arrange for additional dancefloor lighting to be provided, if
required. If the band's in-house DJ service has been booked, there will be
basic dancefloor lighting provided as part of this package. Specialist lighting
shows can be organised with advanced notification.
